Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities
- The Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing and developing web and application solutions, components, shared service solutions, vendor and cloud platform integrations, REST APIs, and micro services based upon a thorough analysis and decomposition of business requirements and needs.
- The Developer will be a champion of agile and continuous integration/continuous delivery software development lifecycles
- The Developer is responsible for:
- Producing Design artefacts
- Developing and testing application, service and component code
- Supporting the testing
- Change and release management
- Production operation of the code.
- The Developer is expected to ensure alignment to the enterprise architecture standards, industry standards, and best practices when designing or changing applications.
- The ideal candidate needs to be
- Hard-working, reliable, time conscious/driven and, in the most part, fully autonomous (once provided with all the required access levels)
Experience
- Preferably: 3 yrs+ experience working with the technologies/languages listed below:
Required
- Javascript: ES7, jQuery, AJAX, React, Express.js, Node.js, Angular, Bootstrap
- Design/UX: Use-ability Testing, Waterfall Optimisation (Speed), Design for Web Interaction, Cross-browser Compatibility, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (UML)
- Important: HTML5, XML / JSON, CSS, SASS, LESS, CSS3, DOM Optimisation, SVGs, WebP, Responsive Web Development, PSD to HTML, PSD Slicing, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Storage: SQL, MySQL, and NoSQL database design and queries
- Hosting: Apache, Nginx, Litespeed
- Other: Git, Git-Hub, .NET, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Visual Studio Code, Windows & Linux
- Security: Security Principles, SSL integration
Ideal
In addition to what is stated within the required:
- Scraping: Python, Node.js
- Network: Packet Tracer
- Cloud: Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Azure
- CI/CT/CD: Methods and Patterns
Key Skills
- Fluency of / or native speaking & writing of English Language
- Professional level experience with analysing & solving computational problems at a level of abstraction that is beyond regular programming languages
- Ability to learn and understand existing code (or frameworks) quickly and suggest new ways on how best to improve them for overall efficiency and lower execution times
- Ability to create new code from a blank canvas
- Ability to recommend code improvements without the need to implement to know it works
